DAY 1
Arrival at La Ceiba airport. Transfer to the mountain resort The Lodge at Pico Bonito, nestled at the base of the 8,000 feet Pico Bonito Cloud Forest, This will be your base for the next 2 nights. Dinner and evening at leisure. OVERNIGHT AT THE LODGE AT PICO BONITO

DAY 2
After breakfast, walk through the trails of a cloud forest with a soft guided hike. More than 270 species of birds are home to this tropical gardens and pristine rivers. A beautiful cascade is just a short walk from the cabins. In the afternoon, you will visit a butterfly farm and a serpentary. Dinner and evening at leisure.
OVERNIGHT AT THE LODGE AT PICO BONITO

DAY 3
After breakfast, depart to the Mayan Ruins of Copan, known as the Athens of the new world and center of the Mayan civilization. Travel thru western Honduras. In the afternoon you�ll arrive to an enchanting little town of Copan Ruins where the next two nights will be spent at the traditional Hotel Marina Copan located just in front of the central square. Dinner and evening at leisure.
OVERNIGHT AT HOTEL MARINA COPAN OR SIMILAR

DAY 4
After breakfast, you will spend the whole day visiting the past. Explore the local ruins, visit the main archeological site, the Museum of Mayan sculpture, regional museums and the Sepulturas Archaeological site. Dinner and evening at leisure.
OVERNIGHT AT HOTEL MARINA COPAN OR SIMILAR

DAY 5 - 7
After breakfast, you will depart to the costal town of Tela Beach. For many years this was the home of the United Fruit Company, producers of the famed Chiquita Banana. Tela retains the air of a true banana town and offers the visitors the natural beauty of its beaches and its exuberant tropical vegetation. Take an optional tour of the National park of Punta Sal, the Botanical Gardens of Lancetilla and Los Micos Lagoon. See wildlife refuge as well as cultural experiences with Garifuna communities that have origins in their African roots. Dinner and evening at leisure.

After breakfast, transfer to La Ceiba airport for your return flight back to Canada.
