Wedding ceremony will be officiated by a Judge and a translator is provided. Cuban Marriage certificate in Spanish is provided by the Judge. This cost is separate and has to be paid directly to the Judge, quotation upon request and depending on the Civil situation of the couple. (Approximate cost is $400 CUC as costs may vary this information must be confirmed through the hotels wedding coordinator for each wedding)
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS: The following is a list of necessary documentation required by law:
Birth Certificate.
If Divorced or Widow(er), Final Divorce Certificate or Death Certificate if applicable. This must be translated in Spanish and legalized at the Cuban Consulate in the Country of origin (if divorced or widow(er)), then there are additional costs for the protocolization of these documents)
Passports (bride, groom and witnesses)
Tourist Visas (bride, groom and witnesses)
Cuban Marriage Certificate will be issued, approximately, 30 days after the Ceremony.
The Judges official schedule is Monday to Friday, 9:00 hrs. Until 16:00 hrs.
If required we can provide witnesses
The names on birth certificates, passports, affidavits and all other applicable documents must all match exactly. For example clients should have no middle names missing from their passport.
We advise guest to check the marriage application right after the wedding to avoid future problems.
According to the Cuban Laws witnesses cannot be related to the couple
Once the trip is booked, clients must send hotel a wedding form duly completed so that the hotel can go ahead and book their wedding date with the public notary in Cuba. This form must be requested from & sent to: asistentecomercial@playacaleta.gca.tur.cu or to fax: + 53 45 66-77-79, at least 1 month prior to departure date along with a photocopy of the couples passports and tourist visas if possible.

* In order to have a wedding at our RIU Hotels & Resorts, the couple and the 80 percent of the total amount of the wedding guests must stay at the Riu Hotel where the wedding will be performed. This is a strict Riu policy we must follow.

Judge fees & documentation are not included, therefore the couple must cover the following amount for those services:
