Barbados paints a pretty picture with its white beaches, crystal-blue waters and an interior still filled with acre upon acre of sugar cane.
Complementing Mother Nature, the island offers 5-star restaurants serving a beguiling mix of gourmet and West Indian cuisine, a veritable host of nightspots, as well as your choice of luxury villas and resorts or comfy, more affordable accommodations. If it sounds like a tourist mecca…it is!
Barbados is also decidedly British – and highly sophisticated! Which means you simply must take in the cricket matches, classic horse races or see the stately English manors restored to their 1800’s heyday.
A visit to Barbados definitely allows one to step back in time. Or savour its contemporary golf courses, beaches, windsurfing, surfing, scuba diving and hiking.

Resort Safety
Traveling to foreign destinations can be very exhilarating. Tourists must be aware that potential problems and risks to your personal safety could exist anywhere. Avoid venturing out alone and beware of dark or isolated areas.
